Our mission is to serve God and the local community through loving outreach to the families of children with special needs; To provide a safe and fun environment for the children and their siblings allowing the parents to enjoy a few hours away; To be a positive first “church experience” for families that are eager to be loved and accepted.
The Rays of Light Ministry is currently scheduled as an every other month experience for local families with special needs children. Families can bring these children and their siblings for three hours and head off to go to dinner and a movie, shopping, or just sit on the couch and relax. We typically assign a minimum of one volunteer to each special needs child with a group of “roamers” to play with and watch the other kids. Activities include coloring, crafts, movies, foosball, video games, clothes for dress up, jumpy tent, outdoor basketball, bubbles, music, etc.

Registration is required and space is limited.
