We believe the sixty-six books of the Bible are the only inspired Word of God. They were composed without error in the original manuscripts and are the complete communication from God to people of what is necessary for salvation and spiritual growth.

This God is the creator of all things, absolutely perfect in character and action. As we attempt to describe Him, we will use the word “attributes.” Some of His attributes describe His greatness. We believe: He is all-knowing, all-powerful, present everywhere at once, and unchangeable. Other attributes describe His person. He is the author of all holiness, goodness, justice, truth, and love. This God eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in one personal God who desires to be in a right relationship with those He has created.
We believe Jesus Christ is the sinless, unique God/man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. His sacrificial death provides the payment for our rebellion and rejection of God. It alone can remove our guilt. After being buried, He was bodily resurrected and is in Heaven as our advocate with the Father.

We believe the Holy Spirit has four relationships.

• To bring glory to Jesus Christ.
• To sustain and move believers toward holiness.
• To convict people of their sin.
• To gift people for ministry within the design of the church.

We believe people are created in the image of God, and it is this fact that provides us an accurate sense of self-esteem.

All people have chosen to live apart from God; thus, a broken relationship between God and His creation exist. That broken relationship can only be restored as people are convicted by the Holy Spirit of their sense of lostness and rejection of God, accept the payment for sin that Jesus Christ provided by his sacrificial death, and then choose to acknowledge and follow Him as the Lord and King of their lives. As people make a personal decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ, God works out a complex of miracles in the human soul.

We are forgiven of or our sins completely; we are adopted into God’s family as sons and daughters; we a re sealed securely as a child of His; we are baptized by the Holy Spirit; and supernaturally gifted for ministry as a part of Christ’s body, the church.

We believe local groups of committed believers make up Christ’s universal church.

They are God’s design for accomplishing His will in the world. Together we should reflect the values of Christ’s kingdom until He comes back at the end of the age to gather His believers before the final judgment.

We believe in a personal return of Jesus Christ for His followers. Surrounding those days will be world upheaval and chaos that will only be concluded by His intervention. At that point, he will initiate a kingdom that will last until a final battle. Every person will be judged for their deeds and how they have responded in faith towards God. Those who have entrusted themselves to Him will be ushered into a final state focused upon a literal heaven that will last through all eternity. And those who have rejected Him will face an unfortunate eternity void of His love.
